Open Door of Marathon County invited members of the public to celebrate their seventh year reaching out to the community.
Open Door is an organization that aims to provide new clothing to those who have been in jail and help them, readjust to life outside bars.
Executive Director Ann Drow said the effort might be a large undertaking, but their message to the community is simple.
“We’re helping. We’re here because we saw a need in the community and we decided to do something about it,” she said. “We are run 100% on volunteers and on donations, so obviously the donations are a huge part of what we need.”
